Rollerball in Yew from National trust property Stourhead
Rollerball pen handmade in Yew grown at the National trust property Stourhead, Wiltshire. The pen features Gun Metal coloured fittings.
This is a beautiful quality handmade Rollerball pen. The comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.
When Stourhead first opened in the 1740s, a magazine described it as ‘a living work of art’. The world-famous landscape garden has at its centrepiece a magnificent lake reflecting classical temples, mystical grottoes, and rare and exotic trees.
Features a quality Schmidt ceramic roller ball with a fine tip and is approximately 130mm long and 15mm at the widest part including the cap. Please note that each pen will vary as no two pieces of wood are quite the same.
The pen will be shipped in the recyclable black card case as pictured. Along with a small certificate of giving details of the wood.
All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
