Quality handmade wooden fountain pen in Lawson Cypress wood from the playground of Lady Modiford's School Walkhampton. The pen pictured features Gun metal coloured fittings, both Gold and Chrome coloured fittings are available. Please select the colour of fittings required from the drop down list.

All pens will be made to order. As wood is a natural product each pen will vary slightly from the one pictured.

The wood came from a tree that fell down in a storm a few years ago. The tree stood in the grass area surrounding the playground at the rear of the school. The stump can still be seen and is used by the children during playtime.

The pens comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.

Featuring a medium nib, the pen measures approximately 130mm long and 15mm at the widest part.

The pen accepts small 'International' ink cartridges (one included), or a refillable ink convertor also included. It will be shipped in the environmentally friendly card presentation case as pictured. A small gift card will be sent with the item giving details of the wood.

All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
