Shaving set in Killerton Cork Oak
The shaving set comprises three pices a Brush, Razor handle and Stand. This is a Razor handle designed to fit Gillett Fusion® blades(not included). The fittings for the handle are gunmetal coloured to match the stand. The brush is made using synthetic bristles.
The wood used for all three pieces is Cork Oak from a tree that grew at National trust property Killerton House near Exeter, Devon. The wood has been stabilised with resin to ensure a long life and durability around water.
All handles are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality components for long lasting performance.
