Bethlehem Olive wood seam ripper
Lovely handmade wooden handled seam ripper in Bethlehem Olive wood. Featuring gold coloured fittings which perfectly compliment the wood. This seam ripper has a pocket clip at one end and holds the cutting head in the other. The handle is also supplied with the stiletto point as shown in the photographs.
The seam ripper will be shipped in the recyclable card case pictured, along with a small certificate giving details of the wood.
The Olive tree is slow growing and can live for many years. At the age of around 200 years new shoots develop at the base of the trunk and eventually grow into a new tree, hence the olive tree is known as the "immortal tree".
These very rare olive wood blanks are produced from the trimmings of the olive trees in the Holy Land. An essential process for a healthier growth for the trees. No Tree is damaged or destroyed in the process of harvesting this wood.
All items are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
