Lanhydrock Ash ballpoint pen
This is a lovely quality handmade ballpoint pen. It features Ash grown at the National trust property Lanhydrock House in Cornwall. The oak is complimented by gunmetal coloured fittings.
Lanhydrock is a magnificent late Victorian country house. With gardens and wooded estate, it is the quintessential country house and estate, with the feel of a wealthy but unpretentious family home. After a devastating fire in 1881 the Jacobean house was refurbished in high-Victorian style, with the best in country house design and planning and the latest mod-cons. Each pen will vary slightly as no two pieces of wood are quite the same.
The pen is equipped with a quality black Parker® type refill. It will be shipped in the recyclable card case pictured along with a small certificate giving details of the wood.
All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
