Saltram House Apple Pencil
Quality handmade wooden propelling Pencil handmade in Apple from Saltram House Plymouth. The pencil features gold coloured fittings with a black stripe on the clip.
This is a beautiful handmade pencil, the comfortable shape in the hand is complemented by the wonderful natural feel and warmth of the wood with a traditional wax finish.
The wood featured in this pen is Apple from a tree that grew at Saltram House in Plymouth. It was blown over and damaged in a storm in the winter of 2016/17.
The pencil accepts standard 0.7mm leads which are widely available. It will be shipped in the case pictured, along with a small certificate giving details of the wood.
All pens are handmade by me beginning with rough cut woods for the body. The body of the pen is turned on a lathe to the final shape as seen on each pen. The body is then sanded, sealed, waxed and polished to its final finish. Assembly is completed by using pre-made high quality pen components for long lasting performance.
